Privacy Policy for KettleForge

KettleForge collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere, because the app has no server to send it to. This policy explains that in more detail, and in particular what happens with the camera.

The camera

• KettleForge asks for camera access so it can count your repetitions by recognising the movement of the lift.
• Camera frames are read one at a time, examined on your device using Apple's on-device body-pose detection, and discarded immediately. Each frame is replaced by the next one.
• No video or still image is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted. Nothing from the camera is written to storage, and nothing leaves your device.
• Camera access is optional. If you decline it, or turn rep counting off in Settings, the app works as a timer and you count by tapping.

What information do we collect?

• None. We collect no personal information of any kind.
• There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising identifier, and no analytics or crash-reporting service in the app.
• We do not track you, and we do not share data with any third party, because we hold no data to share.

Your workouts

• Your settings and your workout history — what you lifted, for how long, and when each repetition was counted — are stored only on your own device, inside the app's private storage.
• We have no access to any of it, and it is never uploaded.
• Deleting the app deletes all of it. Individual workouts can be deleted from the History screen at any time.

Children

• KettleForge is rated 4+ and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

• We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will update this page and note the date below.
